We Still Live Here - Âs Nutayuneân
Was blown away by the human spirit exhibited in this documentary on Saturday which we saw as part of the Margaret Mead Documentary Film Festival at the American Museum of Natural History. It tells the story of one woman’s mission to revive her ancestors’ native Wampanoag language, which saw its last native speaker die over a century earlier.
It’s airing on PBS as part of their great series Independent Lens on Thursday and I highly recommend you check your local listings to check it out.
